Grand Larceny Arrest for Tupelo Man

An iPhone 15 Pro was stolen at a Texaco in Tupelo, leading to the arrest of Jamarius C. Davis, age 22.

Officers responded on September 2, 2024, to call from a Texaco at 2810 Gloster Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with the property owner, who stated that her phone was stolen while she was in the store.

According to Tupelo Police Department's press release, store employees showed the officers video footage from the incident. The footage revealed an individual stealing the phone before leaving the premises in a vehicle.

After further investigation, the Tupelo Police Department was able to arrest Davis, charging him with Grand Larceny.

Davis is being held on a $3,000 bond, on the order of Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Priest on September 20, 2024. The case will later be presented to Lee County Grand Jury.
