According to a press release from Lee County Sheriff's Department, the deputies discovered upon arrival that two men kicked in the front door, forced their way into the home, and threatened assault on the victim.

The men threatened harm to the victim, a 66-year-old disabled man, if he did not give them his money, his cell phone, and other property.

During the burglary, the men took several electronic devices, money, and debit and credit cards. They went on to use the cards at multiple Fulton area businesses.

The investigators were able to use this information to identify the men and issue warrants for their arrests.

Frankie Williams, 31, of Fulton, was apprehended in Fulton and was charged with burglary and home invasion. He has been transported to Lee County adult jail.

Michael Morrison, 38, of Fulton, was apprehended in Tishomingo County and charged with burglary and home invasion. He is currently in custody of Tishomingo County and will be extradited to Lee County soon.

In 2025, the men's cases will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury. Due to the victim's age and disability, Mississippi State statute allows for enhanced penalty. This penalty means that the incarceration time, if convicted, could be doubled for the men.
