MBI Investigates Allegations Against Clarke County Sheriff

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, MBI, has recently announced that it will be looking into reported allegations of domestic violence involving the Sheriff of Clarke County.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation released a statement that said, "The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is investigationg an incident regarding allegations of domestic violence involving the Clarke County Sheriff. Due to this being an open and ongoing investigation, no further comment will be made."

According to WTOK, they have reached out to Sheriff Anthony Chancellor for a comment on the matter but have not yet received a response.

More information will be released and updated as it becomes available.

prayers for all involved. but I don't agree with his statement of it being a PRIVATE matter between he and his wife. He is in a PUBLIC office and his behavior is in the publics interest
