According to social media posts from Prentiss County Electric Power Association, the line workers initially began their assistance with Talquin Electric Cooperative in Quincy, Florida, but have since moved to a more damaged area.

Currently, the PCEPA line workers are assisting Suwanee Valley Electric Cooperative. As of Sunday night, fifty nine percent of Suwanee Valley Electric Cooperatives members had their power restored, according to a post from Suwanee Valley Electric Cooperative's Facebook page. More than 17,000 consumers of electricity have had their power restored in the first 48 hours of line work.

More information about Hurricane Helene recovery efforts will be shared as it becomes available.
