I-55 Motorcycle Crash Takes the Life of Brookhaven Man

A twenty nine year old man from Brookhaven was killed in a motorcycle crash that took place on I-55 early Wednesday.

According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, officers responded to a report of a fatal crash. The scene was located in Pike County along I-55.

Joseph Lodrigue, of Brookhaven, was driving a 1986 Honda Motorcyle north on I-55. The motorcycle left the roadway, colliding with the cable barrier.

Lodrigue received injuries from the crash that proved fatal, and was pronounced deceased.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking into the incident. More information will be released as it becomes available.
