Man Wanted on Statutory Rape Warrant Arrested by Ridgeland Police

A young man from Jackson, wanted on multiple arrest warrants, was arrested on Monday, September 30th, 2024.

Twenty-two year old Davion Amari Crooks was pulled over by Ridgeland Police for a traffic stop. While the traffic stop was being conducted, it was discovered that Crooks had multiple arrest warrants.

Crooks had an active arrest warrant through Ridgeland Police Department for auto burglary. In addition, he was on the "Wanted" list for Hinds County Sheriff's Office for Statutory Rape.

According to Ridgeland Police Department, the officers arrested Crooks, and he was taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
