Tupelo Man Charged by Oxford PD with Molesting a Child

A man from Tupelo will face multiple charges for alleged sexual crimes involving a child in Oxford.

Zachary Adams, age 28, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff's Office in May. He was charged with four counts of enticement of a child for sexual purposes. Adams was also charged with two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes.

According to The Oxford Eagle, on May 17th, Lee County Sheriff's Office reached out to Oxford Police Department regarding Adams's case.

Adams remained in custody with Lee County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.

Oxford Police Department served a warrant on October 8th, 2024, charging Adams with three counts of molesting a child for lustful purposes.

An additional bond of an unspecified amount was set for Adams by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.
