Silver Alert Issued for Meridian Man

A Silver Alert has been issued by Mississippi Bureau of Investigation on behalf of Jasper County Sheriff's Department for a man who has been missing since Sunday, October 13th.

According to a press release from Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Fielden William Mitts was last seen on Sunday at around 5:30 p.m.

Mitts, ate 71, was seen driving an off-road utility vehicle in the 1600 Block of County Road 20. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and a camouflage hat.

According to Mitts's family, he has a medical condition that could potentially impair his judgment.
