Yazoo City Crash Kills One, Leaves Three Injured

A two-vehicle crash in Yazoo City has taken the life of one and left three others injured.

The crash in question occured on Saturday, October 12th around 2:00 a.m. It took place on U.S. 49 near Castle Chapel Road.

According to officials with Mississippi Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Suburban had a head-on collision with a 2015 Honda Accord. The Chevrolet Suburban was in flames.

The Suburban's driver, as well as the two passengers, were taken for treatment at University of Mississippi Medical Center with injuries unknown.

The Honda's driver, Javiya Myles, age 20, unfortunately was killed at the scene of the collision.

The incident is still being investigated by Mississippi Highway Patrol.
