37-Year-Old Man Killed in Rollover Crash in Lincoln County

At approximately 8:56 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, a man from Lincoln County was killed in a Lincoln County rollover crash.

The incident took place on I-55. The driver, Emanuel Williams, age thirty seven, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer north on I-55 when the vehicle left the roadway.

According to Darkhorse Press, after the vehicle left the highway, it turned over before colliding with some trees.

Driver Emanuel Williams, of Hazelhurst, was unfortunately killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mississippi Highway Patrol's investigation into the crash is ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
