Tupelo Man Arrested on a DUI 4th Offense Warrant

A man from Tupelo was arrested on October 15th, 2024, in relation to a DUI case from earlier in 2024.

Robert X. Watkins, age forty five, was arrested Tuesday on a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant. The warrant was for 4th DUI or Subsequent Offense.

According to a press release from Tupelo Police Department, the Driving Under Influence case that the warrant pertains to occured on Evans Circle.

Lee County Circuit Court ordered that Watkins be held without bond at the time that the warrant was issued. Watkins's case is now waiting to be presented on trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
