Dennis Woman Charged with Fraud

In May 2024, detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division with Booneville Police Department opened an investigation into a series of fraudulent purchases. These purchases consisted of using a debit card without the owner's permission.

Two suspects were identified in the investigation. One, Chase Tyler Teeter, age twenty four, of Iuka, was arrested in May. He was charged with one felony count of fraudulently obtaining goods. Teeter's case was presented to a grand jury.

According to a press release from Booneville Police Department, the second, Lizabeth Nicole Zarate, age twenty, of Dennis has also been arrested.

Zarate was arrested on September 19, 2024. She has been charged with one count of fraudulently obtaining goods.

Zarate's bond was set at $2,500. The case will be presented to the Prentiss County Grand Jury.
