    Officers Respond to Suspicious Activity in Booneville, Two Arrested

    Officers with Booneville Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity at a business. As a result, two were arrested.

    According to a press release from Booneville Police Department, patrol officers responded to the scene of suspicious activity at a business on South Second Street. Upon arrival, officers encountered a man and a woman who were identified as Mason Stanley Harrell, age thirty, of Guntown and Kristie Samantha McDonald, age forty four, of Booneville.

    Officers discovered Harrell was in possession of a felony amount of methamphetamine. During the investigation, officers also discovered that McDonald had destroyed physical evidence. Both Harrell and McDonald were arrested.

    Harrell was charged with charged with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine, and McDonald was charged with one felony count of tampering with physical evidence. McDonald's bond was set at $2,500.
