HeartFlow Inc., a leader in non-invasive artificial intelligence precision coronary care solutions, has recognized Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi with its HeartFlow CT Quality Award.

The award recognizes medical centers for the quality and adoption of HeartFlow CT’s cardiovascular medical imaging program.

Based on the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography’s Imaging Guidelines, Baptist North Mississippi had a 97% final acceptance rate for HeartFlow CT.

“We are honored to receive the HeartFlow CT Quality Award,” said Brian Welton, CEO and administrator of Baptist North Mississippi. “Our team is committed to providing quality assessments and diagnostics for our heart patients. Using discretion and their expertise, our heart team can properly use HeartFlow CT technology to better understand and treat patients’ heart conditions.”

HeartFlow FFRCT Analysis uses CT scans and artificial intelligence algorithms to create a personalized, color-coded 3D model of a person’s coronary arteries, showing how blockages affect blood flow.

This detailed information helps patients’ medical teams determine the next step in their treatment plan, which previously was only possible through surgery or other invasive medical procedures. Treatment options could include coronary stenting, coronary artery bypass surgery or medications.
