Houston Concert Watch 7/24: Zach Bryan, Koe Wetzel and More
It’s not something that classic rock fans like to dwell on, but the members of our favorite bands are getting older and having to deal with scenarios where the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain is a case in point. After suffering partial paralysis following a stroke last year, McBrain was able to get behind the drum kit again after extensive physical therapy. A victory to be certain, but, according to the drummer, he was at about 70 per cent of his previous ability level.

Students attending ADSY campuses return to the classroom this July 24; all other students return on August 12. The 2024-2025 school year starts on Wednesday, July 24, for students attending campuses that follow the Additional Days School Year (ADSY) calendar, which includes Ermel Elementary School, Harris (Elementary School), Smith Elementary School, and Vines EC/PreK/K School. For all other students on the traditional school year calendar, they return to the classroom on Monday, August 12.

Leasing at affordable housing complex in Houston's Second Ward paused amid contaminated ash concerns
