My first visit to Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill was a delightful experience. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the aroma of grilled chicken, burgers, and pancakes. The appetizers, Toasted Ravioli and Pickle Spears, were a standout, with a homemade feel to them. The Ravioli, made with wontons, had a satisfying crispness, and the fried pickles were some of the best I've tasted.

The chicken salad was generously topped with smoked, warm chicken, and the chicken parmesan was tender and juicy. The buttered red potatoes had a nice toasted edge, and the baked beans had a sweet touch with some of their BBQ meat stirred in. The toasted bread was flavorful, though a bit heavy on butter and garlic. The place had a lively atmosphere with sports on the TV and live music occasionally. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, where I plan to try the pulled pork.

The service was quick and efficient, and the outdoor seating was a nice touch. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but it's definitely worth seeking out. The brisket was decent, and the baked beans and okra were good. I also tried the Hot Italian, a combination of smoked pork, ham, pepperoni with pepper jack cheese, and a side of marinara. It was toasted to perfection and tasted amazing. If you're in the area and in the mood for BBQ, Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill is a decent place to go. Just remember, there's plenty of easy parking!

Oh wow! How revolutionary for a Missouri restaurant to serve toasted raviolis and fried pickle spears. I’ve never seen that anywhere else.
