WV man sentenced to prison on Ohio drug charge
IRONTON — A West Virginia man was sentenced to two years in prison as part of a negotiated plea deal in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court earlier this week. Christopher A. Adkins, 32, of Big Ugly Road, Harts, West Virginia, was sentenced by Judge Andy Ballard. Adkins was indicted last year on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.

Mingo man faces federal child exploitation charges
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Mingo County man has been indicted in federal court on child exploitation charges. Terry Randall Hinkle, 55, of Delbarton, was charged Tuesday with one count of sexual exploitation of children and single counts of receiving, possessing and distributing child pornography. The charges all stem from last August and September, when Hinkle is accused of coercing a child to take part in sexual conduct which he then recorded.

Michigan man wanted after drugs found in vehicle during Boone County traffic stop
BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — An arrest warrant has been issued for a Michigan man after a large amount of drugs were found in a vehicle in West Virginia, troopers said. Anthony D. Chandler, of Warren, Mich., is wanted after troopers said they found 310 grams of methamphetamine and about 54 grams of fentanyl in a vehicle belonging to him on Monday, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.
