Spokesperson Brynna Knapp says an upcoming anticipated shift in demand will lead to lower prices at the pump. </p><h3> Triple A: Rochester Area Has Highest Gas Prices in All of Minnesota </h3><p> Triple-A’s measurement of average gas prices across Minnesota’s metropolitan areas indicates the <a href="https://krocnews.com/tags/rochester" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Rochester </a> area sees the highest gas prices across the state. </p><p> Motorists filling up in the Rochester area are paying an average of $3.16 per gallon. <a href="https://krocnews.com/tags/mankato" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Mankato </a> has the next highest average at $3.09 per gallon. </p><figure class="content-post-image alignnone" id="attachment_285751"><a class="fancybox" href="//townsquare.media/site/67/files/2023/04/attachment-GettyImages-97962772.jpg" rel="nofollow"></a><figcaption>Getty Images </figcaption></figure><p> Drivers in the <a href="https://krocnews.com/tags/minneapolis" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Minneapolis </a> – <a href="https://krocnews.com/tags/st-paul" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> St. Paul Metro </a> pay an average of $3.08 per gallon, a gallon of gas in Moorhead is averaging $3.02 per gallon. </p><p> The <a href="https://krocnews.com/tags/st-cloud" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> St. Cloud </a> and <a href="https://krocnews.com/tags/duluth" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Duluth </a> areas are the only major population centers in the state seeing an average price per gallon of under $3, coming in at $2.99 and $2.97 respectively. </p><p> Motorists in Rochester do not have to go far to shell out less money to fill up.
