<div>The Cascade City Council has appointed a new council member.Mark Weber was appointed at Monday night’s council meeting to fill the seat left vacant by Riley Rausch, who resigned effective June 24th.The Council chose to fill the vacant term by appointment, placing an ad in the local newspaper seeking interested candidates. Three people submitted letters of interest, including Weber, David Gudenkauf and Erik Honda. Weber currently works at Kluesner Construction and has served on the city’s Park Board and with the Cascade Fire Department.
