Authorities searching for suspects after man found dead in Jackson parking lot
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Jackson Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects connected with a 2022 Jackson murder. The Jackson Police Department tells WLBT 3 On Your Side that officers found Jessie Ragsdale dead in a parking lot on Suncrest Drive near the Taco Bell location on July 9, 2022.
Grass-cutting contracts spark debate at Jackson City Council meeting
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Two contracts designed to help the city get a handle on overgrown cemeteries and right-of-ways sparked debate among council members on Tuesday. At its July 16 meeting, the council approved grass-cutting contracts with Redmond Lawn and Cleaning Service, and PDT Logistics to cut grass along the city’s right-of-way and in the city’s cemeteries.
