There's a less than 50/50 chance it happens unless it's for pennies on the dollar !! mostly as publicity stunt to save face & a chance he gets enough lifetime WAR to make mlb HOF finishing in a STL uniform !! Most likely he leaves for another contender for less money with Arenado who's already looking ready to throw in towel after getting screwed by MO after not opting out !! don't look for either wanting back in 2025 !!

Move on Cardinals...MO has undoubtedly closed the window of opportunity for Goldy and Arenado a few yrs ago..No pitching at all..Both players time us over with St louis...Should of tried to trade them last off - season since you had to know that the cards were gonna suck! So Pathetic
