    Motorcyclist injured after crashing with truck near Moab

    GRAND COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — A crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck towing a horse trailer on US-191 Wednesday injured a motorcyclist, according to officials.

    Cpl. Silva with the Utah Highway Patrol told ABC4.com that the motorcycle rider was attempting to turn left while traveling southbound on Highway 191 near Moab. Silva said the rider did not yield to traffic and crashed into a pickup truck that was towing a horse trailer.

    The rider was taken to the hospital in an ambulance with minor injuries. There were no other injuries from the crash, according to Silva.

    The crash caused traffic delays, and four lanes were affected by the closures, according to officials. One lane was completely closed after the crash, but all lanes of traffic have reopened since.
