    Mobile man accused of 2 gas station robberies: MPD

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A man was arrested on July 2 after he allegedly robbed people at two gas stations Monday, according to the Mobile Police Department.

    36-year-old Cory Devon Moore, of Mobile, was arrested in connection with the store robberies.

    An MPD news release said officers were called to a BP station on Old Shell Road around 8:45 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery.

    FIRST INCIDENT LOCATION:

    Officers found that the suspect, now identified as Moore, pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money before leaving the area, according to the release.

    Then, officers were called to a Chevron on Moffett Road for another reported armed robbery around 9:40 p.m.

    SECOND INCIDENT LOCATION:

    The release said the suspect, Moore, demanded money from the cashier before leaving the area.

    Moore is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery.
