Man cut in attempted robbery at PNC Bank, Mobile police say

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a man was cut while attempting to withdraw money from an ATM, according to reports.

Officers said they responded to the PNC Bank at 5351 Highway 90 about a robbery on Wednesday, July 17, at 7 a.m. and found a male victim with several cuts.

According to police, the man was trying to withdraw money from the ATM when he was approached by a known suspect who demanded money.

During the fight, the suspect allegedly cut the victim with a sharp object.

The suspect left the area after causing non-life-threatening injuries to the victim, police said.

MPD says this is an ongoing investigation.
