Broadview Heights hires former ARB member to design new Service Department storage building
BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The city has hired a Broadview Heights architect to design a new Service Department storage building on the City Hall campus. Glen D. Ramage served on the city’s Architectural Review Board before it was disbanded about 10 years ago, according to David Schroedel, the city’s director of public service and development.

ProVia has announced its intent to purchase two Dalton, OH real estate properties from Toop and Toop II, LLC. The main building, located at 630 Henry Street, is approximately 303,000-sq.-ft. of retail and manufacturing space, located on 24-½ acres, and has high visibility from U.S. Route 30. The other 4-acre property is 1.3 miles away at 1543 Zuercher Road and contains a 22,500-sq.-ft. warehouse.
Fire destroys Brush Rd. barn
Two days after fire destroyed a 40×100-feet barn used to store hay and straw, smoke continued to escape from bales of hay exposed when the structure collapsed. Augusta Volunteer Fire Department Chief Charles Wright said his department was toned June 12 at 8:50 p.m. for a fully involved structure fire at 1235 Brush Rd., Minerva.
