Truck crash at a Bath Township intersection sends one person to the hospital
BATH TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) - A two-truck crash in Bath Township led to one person being transported to the hospital. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Thayer Road. One of the trucks ended up in the yard of a nearby home. The person inside had to be extricated and was transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita's; their condition is unknown. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Woman remains in critical condition after being hit by Amtrak train in Sebring
SEBRING ‒ The woman who was critically injured while walking on railroad tracks early Monday has been identified as Allison Carter, 21, of Beloit. She was injured and 21-year-old Michael Lawson Jr. of Alliance was killed when they were hit by an Amtrak passenger train while walking on the Norfolk Southern line at 1:59 a.m. Monday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
