Listening Lab visits Folk School of Fayetteville's Girl Power Rock Camp
KUAF’s Mobile Listening Lab visited the Folk School of Fayetteville for Girl Power Rock Camp. It’s a week-long camp for girls ages 8-14 to learn to play, write and perform their own songs. Today on Ozarks at Large, we hear from the members of the newly-formed band MZ MESS: Hazel, Stori, Emily, Milly, Emerson, Shiloh, and Morgan— and from their instructors: Jori, Shannon, Jules, and Milcah.
Gallery 246 spotlights two Mountain View artists

According to a release from the non-profit organization, Marcia Wallace has called Arkansas home since 1984. After years of miscellaneous jobs and teaching workshops to all ages through Arts in Education programs, Wallace became a full-time instructor at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville in art, theater, and speech for 17 years.
