October 11, 1930 – June 14, 2024 - Verna Maureen Pettit Robinson passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024 at Pheasant Point Assisted Living in Molalla, Oregon.

Verna was born on October 11, 1930 to Everly and Cecilia Smith in Waterloo, Iowa.

She married John Victor Pettit in 1948 in Portland, Oregon. Later in life she married David Robinson of Molalla, Oregon.

Verna is survived by her children, Gary (Kathy) Pettit, Linda (Jim) Coburn, and Craig (Sheila) Pettit. She was preceeded in death by her daughter, Cindy Pettit, and husband David.

Verna was a fiercely strong and independent woman. Her life revolved around her love of gardening. She was watched over for many years by her good friend Dennis Woods of Molalla, Oregon.

Verna was loved very much and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
