67-year-old Milton woman dies after getting ejected from airborne van
A 67-year-old Milton woman is dead after her van went airborne on State Road 87 in Santa Rosa County Monday. Florida Highway Patrol says a 65-year-old woman was driving a Honda Odyssey south on SR 87 with the 67-year-old as a passenger when she ran off the roadway, collided with garbage cans and drove straight toward an embankment.
FATAL CRASH WITH DUI ARREST
Santa Rosa County, Florida – On Monday, July 15, 2024, a fatal crash occurred on State Road 89 in Milton, Florida. During the crash, Deborah L. Fiss, of Milton, was operating a 2012 Honda van southbound on State Road 89. The van traveled off the roadway onto the shoulder and overturned, ejecting the passenger, also of Milton. The victim was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
