    MONDAY, AUG. 12-SUNDAY, AUG. 18

    WOODBURN FIESTA MEXICANA — It's the 60th anniversary of the Woodburn Fiesta Mexicana, from noon to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, at Legion Park, 1385 Park Ave., Woodburn. The event features more than 60 vendors, a soccer tournament, a parade, Lucha Libre, Loteria, live music and a tremendous amount of authentic cuisine options. It's free all day Friday, free Saturday and Sunday until 5 p.m., and after 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, it's a $5 entry fee for ages 10 and older. Saturday features a morning parade from downtown through Legion Park.

    WAPATO SHOWDOWN — Reeling in cars from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, the annual Wapato Showdown returns to Brown Park in Gaston on Aug. 15-17. Don’t miss the Good Ol Days Parade and the steak feed on Aug. 16. All three nights include live music, a beer garden and, of course, cars to check out.     BEAVERTON NIGHT MARKET — A community staple for the last 10 years, the Beaverton Night Market is back once again with the promise of grand performances and free activities for the whole family Aug. 17. And this year, the event will expand to include the plaza in front of City Hall, in addition to its usual digs at The Round, 12600 S.W.     FOREST GROVE UNCORKED — Promoting wine, food and micro-brews across the Northern Willamette Valley is the name of the game of the annual Forest Grove Uncorked event, this year slated for 4-9 p.m. Aug. 17.     COLTON MUSIC AND CARS — The annual Summer Finally Got Here concert and classic car show will be held Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Aspen Meadow Amphitheater, 24323 S. Upper Highland Road in Colton. Enjoy classic cars, food, beverages, and the Aspen Meadows Band delivering music from days gone by. Admission is free to the concert and car show.
