Moncks Corner holds 4th of July celebration

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – The Town of Moncks Corner is holding a dazzling 4th of July Celebration on Saturday free of charge for their community!

Town officials say the event will have free admission and free parking! The event is scheduled from 6 – 10 p.m.

A live band and DJ are expected to be in attendance. Guests can also expect face painters, balloon artists and other entertainment.

Officials say a variety of food trucks and a vendor market will also be included.

Fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk/9:30 p.m. They will be launched from field 3 of the Regional Recreation Complex.

Officials ask guests to not bring fireworks, alcohol, or grills to the event.

There will be plenty of space on the Event Field for attendants to spread out, according to Monks Corner officials. Attendants can also view fireworks from their vehicles in the parking lot.
