Flooding concern at Madonna Homes apartments
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Madonna Homes resident claims they have been dealing with a flooded apartment and mold growing under the sink for the last week. The resident’s apartment had at least an inch of water on the ground with a backed-up sink and sitting water on his kitchen countertop. The resident said it is unbearable and he just wants something done.
Toledo Library to offer home delivery for those unable to visit
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The Toledo Lucas County Public Library will be offering a home delivery service for customers who are unable to visit due to medical reasons. According to a press release from the library, the new service will provide access to the library’s collection to people who are unable to visit the library themselves. The service will provide customers with home delivery of the books, DVDs, and audiobooks they choose every four weeks.

High school rowing coaches see growth opportunity as University of Toledo adds team
Mike Dibling, chair of the Toledo Rowing Foundation, had two daughters who rowed at a high level. With no Division I rowing programs in the area, they went to West Virginia University. In a news conference announcing that the University of Toledo is adding varsity women’s rowing for the 2025-26 season, Athletic Director Bryan Blair explained that he viewed the program as a way of creating opportunities that did not exist for Dibling’s daughters. “When you think about your daughters rowing here on the Maumee, they went on to row collegiately,” he told Dibling. “And now just having the opportunity for [girls like] them to stay right at home and have an education at the University of Toledo, but also be a Division I rower and champion, that’s what really excites me.”
