Man Arrested Outside New York State Fair With AR-15
A North Carolina man was arrested with an assault weapon outside of the New York State Fair. A 34-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina was arrested outside of the New York State Fair on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Curtis D. Young was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a 3rd degree class “D” felony. New York State Troopers observed Young acting suspiciously after exiting his truck on the exit ramp from I-690 at State Fair Boulevard. During an interview with State Police, he admitted that he had an AR-15 and a 30-round magazine inside of his truck.
