Wednesday Night fourth Of July Celebration In Dubuque
We would like to thank the generous sponsors and dedicated volunteers who made the Dubuque firework celebration a big success. It was a beautiful display of patriotism and community spirit. CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - On the Fourth of July in 1916, four immigrants settled their argument over who was the most patriotic with a hot dog eating contest in Coney Island. Those hot dogs were from the first Nathan’s Famous hot dog stand, who held its first-ever official hot dog eating contest in 1972.
