Ancora announces fourth location coming to Monona

Ancora announced today that it will open a fourth location at 3926 Monona Drive, Monona, set to open this fall.

The coffee shop and cafe will include the business's first drive-thru window in its new space in The Current building that's currently being built out.

Owned by Tori Gerding, Ancora has three other locations at 107 King St., 3256 University Ave. and 611 N. Sherman Ave. The coffee shop was first opened by Sue and George Krug on King Street in 1994. Gerding, who worked at the shop as a young adult, bought the business in 2013 and expanded Ancora by footprint and offerings.

Ancora serves craft drinks, house-made baked goods and a cafe menu featuring sandwiches, wraps and other breakfast and brunch items.
