South Florida is going to avoid a direct impact by Potential Tropical Cyclone Four currently over Cuba, but we're not out of the woods.

"Pretty much the entire day Saturday/Saturday night is when we're probably going to be under the greatest threat of the heaviest rainfall," says National Weather Service Meteorologist Robert Molleda.

Even as early as tomorrow morning we will start to see periods of rain moving through the area, but "the later in the day we get, perhaps the more frequent those rain bands will be moving through the area."

Potential flooding threats could linger into at least part of Sunday.

The anticipation is South Florida will see an average of two to four inches of rain with some areas seeing more.

Wind gusts could reach up to 35-miles-per hour.

There will be rough surf and rip currents.
