The Monroe County Sheriff’s office is investigating the death of a 5-year-old boy Saturday on the southwest side of Bloomington. Deputies responded to a call of a child found unresponsive in a pool around 7:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of South Leonard Springs Road, according to a press release.
