ROAD CLOSURE: Winnsboro Road in Monroe to experience closure from Tuesday, July 16th to Wednesday, July 31st

MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — According to Monroe city officials, Winnsboro Road between Georgia and Florida Street will be closed from Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 9 a.m. to Wednesday, July 31, 2024, for work to be done on a manhole in the westbound lane, weather permitting.

During the closure, the designated detour route will guide you from Georgia Street to Plum Street and from South First Street to Beauregard Street.

The city apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks in advance for drivers’ patience while work is in progress. Drivers must drive cautiously throughout the construction area and be mindful of signs.
