Pro wrestling fans ready for Thursday’s IWR Insane Rumble

MONROE — Insane Wrestling Revolution pro wrestling returns to Monroe Thursday at the Robert Hutchinson FOP Lodge, 1051 Strasburg Road. Special guest Danhausen will make an appearance at the annual IWR Insane Rumble event and former Red Wing Darren McCarty will join 29 other competitors in the 30 Man Insane Rumble Match.

“At IWR Insane Rumble it won't get any easier for IWR World Heavyweight Champion Rhino,” Gary Pillette said in a written statement. “After a hard-fought victory over TNA Superstar Steve Maclin at IWR 29-Meltdown, Rhino will now have to face The Last Real Man in Pro Wrestling Silas Young and defend his title once again.”

After winning at IWR 29-Meltdown to become the No. 1 contender to the IWR World Tag Team Titles, Sarah Baer will lead her Monsters of Destruction to face Champions Death Threat Army for the titles.

Also featured will be Shogun Jackson Stone and Papa Dingo against Aaron Orion and Jack Price.

According to Pillette, local event promoter and Insane Wrestling Revolution co-owner, at last month’s show, El Booñio, was accused by The Most Dangerous Man in Michigan The DBA of not being who he says he is and will now square off against him in a battle of the mask versus the girlfriend.

“In other words, if The DBA wins El Booñio must take his mask off to reveal his true identity and if El Booñio wins The DBA must hand over his girlfriend (his bat, Lucy),” Pillette said.

The night’s entertainment will also include Mila Moore returning to The House of Insanity. Moore will face Chicago's own IWR Superstar Shelly “The Bombshell” Benson in one-on-one VIP action.

Zeeko will face former TNA X Division Champion Rohit Raju in VIP action.

Fans may recall at the last show, Zeeko continued assaulting Ace Austin after he was disqualified and Raju came to Evan’s aid before challenging Zeeko to a match.

“At the IWR Insane Rumble, you won't know who's coming out till the music drops and the curtain opens,” Pillette said. “After 28 other men are thrown over the top rope and it's down to final two competitors. The match turns into an insane rules match until there's a winner. Last year’s surprise entrant Heath Slater won. Who will win this year? Come see.”
