Beaver Valley Days to start next week
The 2024 Beaver Valley Days celebration will kick off on July 26 in St. Edward next weekend with events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for all ages and community members. BEATRICE, Neb. (KOLN) - Beatrice Humane Society is partnering with Petco Love to provide 200 free vaccinations and microchips for cats and dogs. Wednesday from 3 to 5:30 p.m., owners and their furry friends can go to the Gage County Fairgrounds to utilize the free resource. The Nebraska Football team has honored Hall of Fame Coach Tom Osborne outside their new athletic complex. A statue of Osborne and quarterback Brook Berringer has been installed outside the Osborne Legacy Complex. Woman cited in deadly crash west of Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was cited Tuesday in a deadly crash west of Lincoln earlier this year, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says. Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said the 84-year-old woman was charged on suspicion of misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide in the crash on May 29.
