2-alarm fire displaces residents from Somerville Street building, Manchester
MANCHESTER — A two-alarm fire on Friday afternoon forced several people out of a multi-unit building on Somerville Street, with one firefighter sustaining minor injuries. Calls reporting the blaze at 741 Somerville Street began at around 3 p.m., with one individual alerting the nearby fire station in person upon seeing smoke emanating from the property.

Woman arrested on DUI charges after rollover in Brownington
BROWNINGTON — Vermont State Police arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence after she was involved in a rollover accident on Chapdelaine Rd. Salisbury man cited for driving tractor with suspended license, lacking interlock device
CORNWALL — A Salisbury man was cited for driving with a criminally suspended license after his tractor struck a telephone pole on Cross Road near VT Route 30 on July 19. Vermont State Troopers were called to the scene at 1:03 p.m. where they found 39-year-old Richard Quesnel, who was mowing the road’s edges when his vehicle collided with the pole, causing wires to fall.
