Invasive Zebra Mussel larvae found in the Colorado River
SALT LAKE CITY — Officials are warning neighboring states after they found two microscopic zebra mussel larvae in the Colorado River. Police arrest driver suspected of hitting 9-year-old on bicycle in Taylorsville
TAYLORSVILLE — A man with a lengthy history of traffic infractions has been arrested and accused of hitting a 9-year-old boy on a bicycle, then driving away. Aaron Calderon-Palomo, 45, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of negligently operating a vehicle resulting in injury, failing to remain at the scene of accident involving serious injury, drug possession, driving on a suspended or revoked license and not having a valid license.
