I think we can all agree that leaving people out side to find for them selves during the winter months in the flathead, is crew and unusual punishment. We dont even make our pets go outside in the winter. So, why not just have the warming center open from November-March. At least that way it still showes we care about our fellow human beings enough to not freeze to death in the winter.

not all homeless people are drug addicts.... I can see 2 sides to this story yes enabling thrm giving them a place to be warm giving them money....why would they want to change it up everything is free....but prices in rent are ridiculous a single person can barely afford a room....maybe the homeless shelter should charge like 10 buck a night or something stupid cheap.... the druggies would rather spend it on drugs the other homeless who actually need the help would spend it to keep warm for a night.... but without the warming center with winter right around the corner there will be so many young and old that will pass away....and if that's what the goal is to lessen the himeless population.. what kind of people would that make us....not much better.... 2 wrongs don't make a right
