The RR thing has been discussed (grumbled about) for 50 years. Probably should have been scheduled at least 40 years ago and completed 20 years ago. No time like the present though, right? As for "malfunction junction," it seems to be working pretty well with stop signs, no? The outage timing seems awfully coincidental.
