Brick Lane Curry to Close After "15 Wonderful Years" in Upper Montclair

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair's beloved Brick Lane Curry House will serve its last guest on Sunday, July 21.

In a statement issued on Monday, July 15, owner Ritest Patel stated, "with heavy hearts but treasured memories, we've made the decision to close Brick Lane Curry House after 15 wonderful years.

Known for its British Style Curry, the Valley Road establishment has become a staple of the Montclair culinary scene.

"This journey has been magical," Patel continued, "we've forged lifelong friendships, been part of your special moments, and hopefully added a dash of spice and warmth to the vibrant tapestry of Montclair. Words cannot express our gratitude to everyone in Montclair and the surrounding area. Your appreciation for our food was the greatest reward we could have asked for."

The statement expressed love for Montclair, and hinted that "there might be a new adventure on the horizon for us soon."
