AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo recently visited a replica of the world’s first In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Baldwin Park, CA. It is located along the I-10 freeway at Francisquito Avenue. In 1948, Harry Snyder introduced California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand in a space of barely 100 square feet. Harry pursued his vision of enabling guests to order and receive their meals without leaving their cars. The introduction of his unique two-way speaker box lets In-N-Out offer true drive-thru service worthy of its name. In 2014, the replica of First In-N-Out restaurant opened.

Goats, sheep reducing California's fire risk by clearing out dry vegetation
Los Angeles County firefighters are getting much needed help in lowering wildfire risk by using goats and sheep to chew away away at dry vegetation.The Los Angeles County Fire Department held a demonstration Tuesday in the Topanga area to show how the animals help clear brush in fire-prone areas. Fire damaged a family-owned restaurant early Thursday morning that has been in business for decades in Claremont. Signs point way to sites from Hollywood’s history
While visitors along the Hollywood Walk of Fame look down to see the stars on the sidewalk, the Hollywood Historic Trust is giving them a new reason to look up. On Aug. 15, representatives of the Trust, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Councilman Hugo Soto-Martinez, 13th District, gathered near Hollywood Boulevard and Sycamore Avenue to unveil a collection of 47 new historic markers located on street poles. The signs feature stories and photographs that bring Hollywood history to life, replacing older markers installed 25 years ago.
