Meghan Markle and actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley shared a lovely low-key pasta and wine lunch date at the lavish Tre Lune in Montecito, California this week.
On Monday, Meghan and country star Brad Paisley's wife Kimberly were seen catching up as they enjoyed some delicious Italian food at the famed swanky eatery. During the outing, the Duchess of Sussex showed off her expensive, stylish wardrobe as she stepped out in a £245 ($316) white Mika shirt from the Los Angeles brand Anine Bing accessorized with a £12,800 ($16,500) Cartier gold necklace.
After their lunch date, marking the first time the pair have been photographed together in public, an exclusive source dished about the actresses' get-together. An insider told People : "They had a lovely experience, chatting and laughing together. The pair was low-key and was left unbothered by the other guests."

While it wasn't revealed what the pair were chatting about during their meal, the two have plenty in common as they both attended the same college and have a shared passion for philanthropy. Both Kimberly and Meghan are alumni of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Kimberly graduated from the School of Communication back in 1993 while Meghan earned her degree a few years later in 2003 graduating with a double major in theater and international studies.
After college, both women also pursued their shared interest in acting. Kimberly is well-known for her roles in the movies Father of the Bride, The 10th Kingdom, Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday, and her appearances in number of sitcoms including According to Jim and Two and a Half Men. As for Meghan, she is famously known for her acting role as Rachel Zane in the hit legal drama series Suits and also starred in a number of movies including Horrible Bosses, Remember Me, Dater's Handbook, and more.
Since their run in Hollywood, the pair have both moved forward with creating their own charity efforts. Meghan and her husband Prince Harry launched their own non-profit organization Archewell Foundation back in 2020 which has gone on to raised $1.2million (£960,000) in donations within the last year and contribute to many worthy causes.
Kimberly has also made impactful contributions to the fight against hunger in America after launching a free grocery store called The Store with her husband Brad in Nashville, Tennessee. The charity effort has been met with great success and has already provided over 1.3million meals to families experiencing poverty.
