LWSH listed in the State Register of Historic Places
The Wisconsin Historical Society has listed the Little White Schoolhouse in Ripon on the State Register of Historic Places. While the Little White Schoolhouse has been on the state register since 1989, the new listing reflects the current location of the building following a site change in 2023. Suspect in attempted child abduction at Wautoma park arrested after tips from community
WAUTOMA (WLUK) -- A flood of community tips led to the arrest of a suspect in an attempted child abduction Wednesday in Wautoma. According to a news release from the Wautoma Police Department, the incident occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. at Bird Creek Park, located at 555 S. 16th Avenue.

Ripon elementary schools hosted activities Tuesday on the final day of school to give students a little bit of fun before the end of the school year. Barlow Park/Journey Elementary School held its annual end-of-the-year carnival. Both in the morning and the afternoon, students were able to wander over to various outside stations. They also were able to get hosed down by the Ripon Area Fire District in the afternoon, which is a staple of the annual event.

(Randolph) A Markesan man has been taken into custody after a stabbing incident at the Alsum Produce facility in Randolph.
