Ripon, 6/1/24 – The City of Ripon, The Parks and Recreation Department, and the Ripon Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce the collaboration for “Red, White, and BOOM!”: a Fourth of July Celebration set to light up the skies and hearts of the Ripon community. Scheduled for Thursday, July 4, 2024, the festivities will take place at Murray Park at 6:00pm and will offer family-friendly activities and concessions leading up to the fireworks display. Attendees can look forward to a fun evening including a petting zoo, obstacle course, family fun games, face painting, and concessions. Additionally, the Noon Kiwanis club will host a softball tournament, adding to the day’s festivities. As the evening progresses, a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem will set the stage for the fireworks show. “We are thrilled to join forces with The Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Ripon to present ‘Red, White, and BOOM!’ this Fourth of July,” said Mandy Kimes, Executive Director of the Ripon Chamber of Commerce. “This event promises to be a celebration of freedom, patriotism, and community spirit, as we come together to honor our nation’s independence and create lasting memories with our friends and neighbors.” The organizers are actively seeking community partners to sponsor the evening.
