500 gallons of Brandy Old Fashioned served up in Wild Rose
Rain did not stop Jessica Rackowski, Debbie Rackowski and Laura Martinez from enjoying a classic Wisconsin Brandy Old Fashioned during the first annual Old Fashioned Fest hosted by Slugger’s in downtown Wild Rose on June 1. Wild Rose entered the record book for the World’s Largest Brandy Old Fashioned by making 500 gallons of Brandy Old Fashioned to break the record. Old Fashioned Fest also raised funds for numerous local organizations throughout the county.
Interior design and gift shop opens in downtown Green Lake
An old grocery store near the post office in Green Lake got a new lease on life as an interior design and gift shop. Susan D’arcy opened the doors to her business, Johnson & Black, for an open house and ribbon cutting last week Friday. She showed off the renovations to the building, as well as the designer items and unique finds that are aimed at the discerning homeowner who wants to make a statement in their home’s decorations.
